Little Big Sunday

This little man...

...is slowly taking over my life.

It all started with a few moans to Chris about Call of Duty. Any females out there with a man in the house will know exactly where I'm coming from on this one. It's not what I want to spend my Sunday afternoons watching.

To try and help the situation, somebody told us about a game called Little Big Planet. Apparently it was good for girls, and Chris would probably enjoy it too. Had we found a happy medium?

Answer would have to be yes, definitely.
We have literally spent ALL night playing it, and lost all sense of reality to a little knitted man.

Now that is what Sundays were made for.

Geocaching adventures

If Geocaching is something you have never tried before, then get of your sofa, put down the chocolate, and get out of the house. You need to have this in your life.

To try and tell you exactly what it is, I looked on Urban Dictionary for an accurate description. Here was my result;

'A way to use multi-billion pound systems for finding plastic boxes in the forest.'

Ok, so maybe Urban Dictionary was the realllly simple way to explain it to you. But to be quite honest, I couldn't have put it better myself.

Team Awesome went for a Geocache adventure not long ago, and it was just so nice to spend some quality time together. Got to admit though, you need to make sure nobody is walking by, because you can look pretty stupid....

That's me. Looking for a non-existant Geocache. Bum right in the air in full view of anyone who needs to walk past.

You probably still don't quite understand what I'm doing, right? Chris has an iPhone, and on that iPhone he downloaded the Geocache app. Using it, you can search for any Geocaches in the surrounding area. It's kinda like a global treasure hunt.

If you're thinking that you live somewhere pretty remote, and there won't be any near you, then you will more than likely be REALLY surprised. We can't quite believe how many there are in Stoke alone.
Check out the website and see what's near you;

(Chris with our best Geocache find. Bless)

Kigu-tastic

If you have no idea what a Kigu is, I suggest you look here... click me fool!

These are the most fun costumes/onesies/pj's ever. I am the proud owner of a Tiger Kigu and together, we have had some fun adventures.
Here's a picture of me in my Kigu with Chris ...

He owns a Dinosaur Kigu (Don't ever ask him if its a crocodile. Really. Don't.) his sister owns a Seal Kigu (Yes, that's as amazing as it sounds. It has flippers and everything!) her boyfriend owns a Dinosaur Kigu too, and my best friend owns a Penguin Kigu.
When we're all together, we look incredible. Better than the A Team.

They aren't just good for showing off around town though. They are that comfortable, we love to laze around the house in them. (You just have to hope and pray that nobody comes visiting. It can lead to pretty awkward moments.)

So if you've read this and a little part of you is jealous, GET ONE! You won't regret it, we promise.

nu·me·ro u·no

Blog number one.

Soooo....I want to cram this blog full with all the cute things I find in life. From the tiny things, to the giant things. My head gets full, and I need an outlet, so you guys, are it. Hope you don't mind.

Let's get the formality's out of the way.

This is me...Katie
HI!

This is my future hubby, Chris.
And together, we make Team Awesome. Yes we do. We get married this August and I'm the most excited that I think I've ever been.

This is our hamster, Goblin.
(Actually, it's not. This is a google'd hamster. Our hamster won't stay still enough for a photo. Sorry 'bout that)

We live in the UK, in a place called Stoke. It's not the best, it's not the worst. It doesn't really matter.
I work in a Food Analytical Lab (Make's me sound smart right? Don't be fooled.)
I like making stuff, and I like finding stuff I would like to make, but never will. Those are mainly the things I will share with you. (It just makes me feel a bit better about it)

I think that's as much as you need to know. I'm looking forward to writing this blog....I can only hope you enjoy reading it!
